FRESH START PROGRAM IS A COLLABORATION WITH THE RACINE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. IT PROVIDES AN ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION SITE FOR CHILDREN WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES STRUGGLING TO ADAPT TO TRADITIONAL LEARNING CLASSROOMS. PSYCHIATRISTS ARE AVAILABLE TO ASSESS CHILDREN AND MANAGE MEDICATIONS. THE PROGRAM OFFERS PSYCHOLOGICAL AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, SUPPORT WITH MEDICATION MANAGEMENT AND A STRUCTURED ENVIRONMENT 5 DAYS A WEEK FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN. THE PROGRAM SUPPORTS CHILDRENS' CONTINUED EDUCATION AND FAMILIES IN CARING FOR CHILDREN WITH PSYCHIATRIC AND OTHER BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ISSUES.
